Apple Pencil to be Incorporated into Search Network
The Apple Pencil is such a small device, it can be easily misplaced – under the sofa, between the cushions, behind the TV, or in a drawer. To make locating it easier, Apple has developed a method to find it using their Search application.
Location System Patent Registered in USPTO
The patent, recently registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, describes an Apple Pencil that will be incorporated into the company’s Search network. Previously, the Apple products that could be located through Search were the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and AirTags.
Using Acoustic Resonators to Locate Devices
The patent outlines how to locate a lost stylus or other peripheral using acoustic resonators integrated into the device. This will allow users to locate their Apple Pencil using the Search application.
Apple is continuing to innovate and improve its products, making it easier for users to find their lost items. The addition of the Apple Pencil to the Search network is just another example of how the company is making life easier for their customers.
