Can You Play Roblox on the Oculus Quest 2?

There is a very simple alternative even though there isn’t an official way to play Roblox on the Oculus Quest 2. Oculus Link is already familiar to you if you’ve set up a virtual desktop in Quest 2. Users of the Oculus Quest 2 can play games on their Quest 2 by connecting their PC to it using Meta’s official software for the device. Thus, Roblox will essentially run on your PC and stream to the Oculus Quest 2’s display. Users have the option of doing this fully wirelessly or while connected by wires.

Requirements to Play Roblox on the Quest 2 Before You Begin

Keeping with the previous point, there are a few things you’ll need before we start if you’re an Oculus Quest 2 user. Get set up by looking at the list below.

1. A VR Ready PC

Naturally, a computer capable of supporting virtual reality is the most important necessity. You will need a PC that can play games and stream at the same time without experiencing lag because the games themselves will run on the PC. 2. Oculus Link Set-Up

3. Roblox Player Installed

The Roblox player needs to be installed briefly on your PC before you can start playing Roblox games. If this is your first time using Roblox, just go to any game and click the green play button. You will then be given the option to install the Roblox player, and you’re good to go. Experienced Roblox players can skip this stage.

4. A Roblox VR Game

You’ll need a Roblox game that can really run in VR since we’ll be running Roblox in virtual reality. Make sure the game you select is Quest 2 and VR suitable. By entering the phrase in Roblox’s search bar, you may quickly look up VR games.

5. A Fully Charged Quest 2

As usual, the battery in your Oculus Quest 2 will be depleted by playing any kind of game. Before we start, make sure your headset is completely charged; otherwise, you’ll soon find yourself taking it off.

How to Enable Unknown Sources on Oculus Link

The Oculus team has not assessed Roblox because it does not officially appear on the Oculus Store listing. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, you will need to take an additional step to ensure Roblox functions flawlessly on your Quest 2. 1. On your PC, launch the Oculus Link app.

2. Locate and click the Settings option in the left sidebar.

3. To access its options, click the General tab.

4. Click the Unknown Sources option to finish.

How to Play Roblox on the Quest 2

You’ve completed the qualifications and are now prepared to begin playing. Check to see if the game you chose is VR-compatible, then get your headset ready, and let’s get started. To play Roblox on your Oculus Quest 2, follow these steps.

1. Establish your Oculus Quest 2 Guardian Boundary in accordance with your seated or standing position.

2. If you haven’t already, activate Airlink on Quest 2 and open the Oculus app on your PC. Make sure Quest 2 and your PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network if you’re using wifi.

3. Select the Roblox VR Game you wish to test out by clicking the Play button on your PC or Oculus Link’s Desktop mode.

4. Permit Roblox to start up in your browser. If you’d like to avoid having to do this again, you can also click the Always Allow box.

5. Don your headphones and scan the area. You’re currently playing Quest 2 in your Roblox game. Move your controllers around and have fun playing because they behave like your hands in other games too.

Why Can t I Play Roblox in VR?

There could be a number of reasons why Roblox didn’t launch on Quest 2. Check out the following potential fixes to the issue.

1. The Roblox Game Doesn t Support VR

The Roblox world you select must support virtual reality, as I already explained. Any Roblox game you launch won’t automatically switch to the Quest 2 mode. 2. You Have an Old Version of Roblox
