Remix is a new tool that Snapchat has introduced that enables users to respond to friends’ Snaps and Stories. The feature, which was first announced in June 2022, is currently being made available to Snapchat users on Android and iPhone. How to use this function and remix Snaps on Snapchat is covered in this post.
Remix Snaps on Snapchat (2022)
What is Snapchat Remix Feature?
Similar to TikTok Duet, Snapchat Remix allows you to comment on your friends’ Snaps and Stories. You can record and send comments in response to Snaps from other Snapchat users using this feature. From the Memories menu, you may also choose to remix previous Snaps of your own. It’s important to note that you can’t yet download your Snapchat remix, even though you can save remixes to your friends’ chat windows.
Additionally, if you use Instagram, you have the option to Remix Reels on Instagram to comment on and react to the little movies that other users post there. Now that that is done, let’s look at how to Remix Snaps:
How to Remix Snaps on Snapchat
1. Open the Snapchat app and select the Stories tab by pressing the people icon in the bottom navigation bar. In order to remix your friend’s tale, touch on it now.
2. Next, select Remix Snap to respond to the story on Snapchat by clicking the vertical three-dot icon in the top-right corner.
3. You can now respond to the Snap by using the camera’s viewfinder. Notably, you may position your response or apply special effects while responding to the initial Snap by using the on-screen controls. To record and confirm the remix, tap the shutter button at the bottom. In order to send your Snapchat remix, next touch the Send icon.
Collaborate with Friends using Snapchat Remix
There you have it, then. You must adhere to these procedures in order to remix Snaps on Snapchat. Snapchat Remix is a fun (and private) way to respond to your friends’ most recent updates, even though it isn’t as flexible as its TikTok Duets or Instagram Reel remix cousins.
