Thomson announces 200 crore investment for Made in India, launches several TVs and washing machines simultaneously

Thomson Forging Ahead in the Indian Market

The French electronics brand Thomson has made a name for itself in the Indian market. To further strengthen its presence, the company has launched its FA Series TVs equipped with Realtek processors. Additionally, Thomson has introduced the Google TV series with 4K resolution screens. To complete the product lineup, the brand has also unveiled a new range of washing machines.

Investment in India

Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of SPPL, the company that has licensed Thomson in India, has announced an investment of Rs 200 crore to promote the ‘Made in India’ campaign. The FA series TVs come with Android 11 in sizes of 32, 40 and 42 inches. On the other hand, the Google TV series is available in 43 and 50 inch sizes with 4K resolution.

Semi-Automatic Washing Machines

Thomson has also launched a series of semi-automatic top-loading washing machines in sizes of 9, 10, 11 and 12 kg. The TVs and washing machines will be available on Flipkart starting May 30.
