Movistar Increases Prices Again
Telefónica’s Movistar Plus+ service is undergoing a restructuring of its most basic television package, resulting in a price hike for consumers. After having raised rates in January 2023, the company is now implementing a new fee increase.
Essential TV Package
The most basic Movistar package, which is required for those who wish to watch pay television, is known as Essential TV. It traditionally included 80 channels, 45 of which were premium channels. However, starting June 1, 2023, the package will only include 35 premium channels.
Channels Removed from Package
Ten channels that were previously available with the basic package are being removed, and consumers will have to pay an extra fee in order to continue watching them. The first channel to be taken away was AXN Movies, which was recently transformed.
